Everyone loves to read a little history about the hosts and the place they are contemplating staying at.
Carrick and I have been guests, then outright owners, and now owners/managers of the Waiwera Coach Trail Villas since 1976. So you can see we go back a long way with this property. We should probably be retired but here we are still young at heart, a little bit tired sometimes and can't think of a nicer village than Waiwera to live in.  In 1990 our 13 and 14 year old daughters were irreplaceable running this family business and our older son in later years helped out with management.  Our extended family is now twelve with four grandchildren under two and a half.
Being here so long has been great,  we have a new generation of guests.Years ago little children learning to swim in our pools are now bringing their partners and babies to stay.  
Not all of the 17 accommodation units at Coach Trail Villas are available in the accommodation pool.  More than half are lived in permanently, several used by their owners specifically as holiday homes and the remaining six are for casual accommodation.
